PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — A water main break has left some people without water in Lawrenceville this morning.
Emergency officials say the break happened at Butler Street and McCandless Avenue around 6:30 a.m.
UPDATE: I just spoke to a @pgh2o rep. This is a 12-inch main. They received calls of low or no water from customers around 6:30a.m. Crews are working to shut off the water and isolate the break. Pittsburgh Water and Sewer Authority crews are working isolate the break and shut off water to the 12-inch main, but no timetable has been given on how long the repairs will take.
Some people who live in the area are without water service. Officials have not given an exact number.
