SWARTZ CREEK, MI -- A water main leak has left some Swartz Creek residents will leave some residents with reduced pressure throughout the day.
The city of Swartz Creek issued a statement Sunday, Jan. 5 notifying residents of a water main leak on Greenleaf Drive, located off Seymour Road.
“Pressure will be reduced in the immediate area until tomorrow when the repair will commence,” the statement reads.
Adam Zettel, Swartz Creek City Manager, said a resident reported the issue to the city which appears to be a minor leak.
Zettel noted officials should know more about the situation on Monday, Jan. 6 after city crews have a chance to excavate the area.
“Residents can use water but should expect reduced pressure, especially tomorrow morning,” per the statement.
